Founded in 2017 by Greg Green, Kaizen Civil Pty Ltd (Kaizen Civil) is the culmination of Greg’s two-decade career working for a range of construction companies.  Motivated by a vision to integrate the finest practices observed throughout his professional journey, Greg established Kaizen Civil to embody excellence. The term ‘Kaizen,’ rooted in Japanese philosophy, signifies the unwavering pursuit of unattainable perfection. At Kaizen Civil, this philosophy extends beyond the delivered product to encompass the very process of delivery itself.  We are committed to reaching and surpassing the highest standards in both our output and the methods by which we achieve it.

Greg Green - Director

With over 25 years of experience, Greg has successfully managed a diverse portfolio of civil and building projects in both the Victorian and United Kingdom construction industries. His expertise spans 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier supplier roles, encompassing positions as both client and contractor. Greg’s project repertoire includes a wide spectrum, ranging from highway duplications and airport fit-outs to water infrastructure, playgrounds, and road maintenance. Notable landmarks among his
accomplished projects include Federation Square, Heathrow Terminal 5, and The Melbourne Markets Relocation Project—each a testament to Greg’s pivotal role in their successful completion. Greg holds a degree in civil engineering and earned an MBA from Melbourne Business School.

Michael Rhodes – Operations Manager

With an expansive career spanning over 18 years in the civil construction industry, Michael has seamlessly progressed from a dedicated laborer to proficiently managing diverse projects. Having worked on civil projects ranging from $10,000 to $2,000,000, Michael’s extensive knowledge illuminates his work, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s intricacies. His expertise shines through not only in delivering high-quality results but also in the seamless coordination of projects, demonstrating a nuanced comprehension of client and stakeholder requirements across a wide spectrum. Moreover, Michael’s experience provides him astute awareness of potential project issues further solidifies his role as a valuable asset in ensuring successful project out

Pan (Penny) Xu – Financial and IMS Manager

Penny has worked and studied as an accountant in both China and Australia. A keen learner, she has an undergraduate degree in financial management, a master’s degree in professional accounting and a master of financial analysis. Working alongside Greg, Penny has helped create and implement the financial and cost control systems as well as also taking a lead role in our EQ & S system development and implementation.
